The much anticipated version 3 of the Geocaching iPhone App dropped in the iTunes store this evening. Some of the new features include browsing photos, map rotation on the iPhone 3GS, map and information caching, and an embedded web browser. I've downloaded and installed my copy but not had the chance to try it out yet. I'm anxious to give it a try with the new caching which should help performance in the field.

love this new ap!! just downloaded it for christmas and went hunting this weekend. am now hooked on our new hobby. did it with my husband and the grandchildren.
