Not only will this give us in the Geocaching Community the chance to see what others are doing, but it gives the internet community at large a better look into the activity we enjoy. We've created a website at Geocaching12of12.com to help those who are not familiar with the 12 of 12 Project and how to participate. It is still a work in progress so check back for updates including tutorials about posting your 12 of 12 photos to services like Facebook, Flickr, Picassa, and SmugMug. Right now there's information about the 12 of 12, it's history, what you'll need and how to participate, plus a few 12 of 12 sample sets involving Geocaching. Have a look and think about doing a practice run this Wednesday using your normal day. We'd love to have you participate in the big day and to help spread the word to fellow Geocachers. The more who get involved the more fun this project can be.

The Geocaching 12 of 12
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 12, 2009! This will be the first "Geocaching 12 of 12." Being that it's a Saturday (at least on Earth) we're looking for Geocachers worldwide to capture their Geocaching day in photographs. Not only will this give us in the Geocaching Community the chance to see what others are doing, but it gives the internet community at large a better look into the activity we enjoy.
