With Thanksgiving quickly approaching in the U.S., I'd like to suggest a new holiday tradition -- "Thankscaching!" Grab some friends or family this holiday and celebrate with some Geocaching. Make those caches ones with a nice walk where you can connect with the rest of the group. If you're like us, you'll find it a very rewarding way to spend some time this weekend (especially if you're lucky enough to have off work for the extended weekend).
Does anyone have some good Thankscaching stories to share? How about any plans for Thankscaching runs this weekend?

great idea. I'm on the road this Thanksgiving, in Minnesota, but perhaps I can find someone to do a few caches. If not I'll find some friendly ones. Or some real turkeys :-).

Hopefully I can get out on Thursday while in Monroe / Toledo OH. but if too cold, can't take the baby out
I showed a friend your Geocoin (psfgc8 Farewell Pepper) That I have had for WAY too long, and he was inspired to go on a cold night hunt. Long story cut short he is now hooked! after finding his first cache! Thanks for placing a great coin for others to find...
