Next Cache for iOS

Next Cache LogoI discovered a new, temporarily free iOS app for Geocachers through a post from LJ (SurfaBoy) on Cacheface. Next Cache appears to simply load a GPX file and notify you of nearby caches as you approach. The description from the page includes;
"It's simple: Load the app, feed it with pocket queries from Groundspeak's geocaching platform, and turn it on or have it run in the background. If you come close to a cache, the app will send you a push message and ask you to go find it."
The app is free this month and I've downloaded it to try myself. Sadly I don't expect to be able to put it through its paces till the weekend. Has anyone else tried the app yet? What are your experiences?
