Geocaching Podcasters at Geowoodstock

We met so many great people at Geowoodstock VIII in Seattle this year, and many we'd met before but rarely get to talk with in person. We love putting faces to those we've had as guests on the "Cache-A-Maniacs" and chatted with on Twitter. It's also a rare chance to met in person with some of the many people we work with on the podcasts. This time around it was just Team PodCacher ("Podcacher") and The Bad Cop ("Caching in the Northwest") as the only Geocaching Podcasters there (at least that we knew of). We'd met both crews in the past and it was an easy meeting as if we're old friends. I guess we are of sorts having worked with Sonny and Sandy before I even started "Cache-A-Maniacs" and we spent a day caching with The Bad Cop and xpunkx in the Toledo-area last year. This year Sonny and Sandy had a booth set-up at roughly the middle of the vendor row while The Bad Cop and I spent most of our time hitting up the vendor tents (and chatting with people face-to-face). Unfortunately we didn't get as much time as we'd have liked to just hang out and talk, but I was able to sit down with The Bad Cop on an interview for "Caching in the Northwest" that night at the Geocoin event, and an intro to Sonny the next day at the Lost & Found Celebration. Next year Geowoodstock will be in Pennsylvania, a drivable distance for me, and I hope to get a number of the Podcasters out to record shows live, and of course for us to get some time to chat amongst ourselves. Are you planning to attend Geoweoodstock IX? Would you be interested in watching a live recording of some podcasts? Would you make the trip if you favorite podcasts were there? Let me know -- I'd curious to find out!
