Tracks in the Snow

Like so many parts of North America, we in Metro Detroit have been slammed with an unusual amount of snow over the last week. Its been cold (1°F this morning) and the forecast continues to change at least once per day, usually more. As of this morning's drive to work they're calling for warmer temperatures Wednesday and Thursday including some rain. At this point we have to much snow and temperatures far to cold to make it fun for Caching on Christmas Day (a recent tradition). But getting all that rain will lead to some substantial puddles and mud. So what will our tracks be like in the coming days? Will we have mud, snow, or should we call it and stay inside for the holiday? It looks like this will be coming down to the wire.
